At FootDiary, we take your privacy seriously and are committed to protecting your personal data.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you use the FootDiary mobile application, website and related services (together, the “Services”), how and why we use it, when we may share it, and the rights you may have in relation to your personal data.
In this Privacy Policy, “FootDiary”, “we”, “us” and “our” means Suzimarshal Designers Private Limited, and “you” or “your” means a user of the Services.
FootDiary is a football-focused journaling and social platform that allows football fans to record, organise and share their football experiences. The Services allow you to create match journals, record match ratings, notes and memories, upload photographs, videos and match tickets, record stadium visits and travel experiences, and interact with other football fans.
This Privacy Policy applies to users of the Services worldwide. We may also provide additional privacy notices for particular features or services where appropriate.
We keep our privacy practices under review and may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
1. BACKGROUND
We are responsible for deciding how we use the personal data that we collect about you.

The main purpose of FootDiary is to allow you to record your football experiences.
We may therefore collect and store information you include in your Journal Entries, including:
matches attended or watched;
match ratings;
personal ratings;
notes;
memories;
favourite moments;
match dates;
teams;
competitions;
stadiums and venues;
ticket information;
photographs;
videos; and
other football-related information you choose to record.
2.4 Stadium and Travel Data
You may record information about stadiums you have visited and your football-related travel.
This may include:
stadium name;
venue;
city;
country;
travel destination;
date of visit; and
other travel-related information you choose to record.
2.5 Photographs and Videos
You may upload photographs and videos to your Journal Entries.
Photographs and videos may contain information about you and other people, as well as information such as the date, time or location at which the photograph or video was taken.
You should consider carefully what information is visible in any photograph or video before uploading or sharing it.
2.6 Match Tickets
You may upload photographs or digital copies of match tickets.
Tickets may contain information such as:
your name;
seat number;
ticket number;
booking reference;
barcode or QR code;
stadium;
match details; and
other ticket information.
You should avoid uploading information that you do not want to share with other users.
2.7 Social and Interaction Data
Where social features are available, we may collect information about:
accounts you follow;
your Followers;
friends or connections;
likes;
comments;
reactions;
shares;
Journal Entries you interact with; and
other interactions with the Services.
2.8 Technical Data
When you use the Services, we may automatically collect certain technical information, including:

operating system;

device identifiers;
App version;
language and time-zone settings;
date and time of access;
pages or screens viewed;
features used;
usage information;
crash and diagnostic information; and
other technical information necessary to operate and secure the Services.

other FootDiary users;

For example, another user may upload a photograph or video that includes you.

We do not generally ask you to provide sensitive personal information through FootDiary.
You should avoid including sensitive information about yourself or other people in Journal Entries, photographs, videos, comments or other User Content unless it is necessary and you have an appropriate legal basis to do so.
3. HOW WE COLLECT YOUR PERSONAL DATA
We may collect your personal data when you:
create or use a FootDiary account;
create or update your profile;
create a Journal Entry;
record a match or match experience;
upload photographs, videos or tickets;
record a stadium visit;
record travel information;
follow or interact with other users;
communicate with us;
participate in surveys, competitions or promotions;
use the Services; or
otherwise interact with FootDiary.
We may also collect certain Technical Data automatically when you use the Services through cookies and similar technologies.
We may receive information about you from other users or third parties, as described above.
4. HOW AND WHY WE USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA
We will only use your personal data where permitted by applicable law.

4.1 Providing the Services

store your Journal Entries;
record your matches and experiences;

personalise your FootDiary experience;

suggest relevant features; and
understand how you use FootDiary.
4.3 Operating and Improving FootDiary

maintain and operate FootDiary;

understand how the Services are being used;
improve existing features;
develop new features;
test and improve performance; and
provide technical support.

5.2 Other FootDiary Users
Information that you choose to share through FootDiary may be visible to other users.
Your Journal Entries may be shared automatically with your Followers where that functionality is enabled.
Depending on the features available, you may also share Journal Entries with friends or selected users.
Please remember that information shared with another user may be copied, downloaded, screenshotted or otherwise retained by that person.
5.3 Legal and Regulatory Authorities
We may disclose personal data where reasonably necessary to:
comply with the law;
comply with a court order or lawful request;
prevent fraud or unlawful activity;
protect our rights;
protect our users; or
establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
5.4 Business Transfers
If FootDiary or the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, sale of assets or similar transaction, personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.
5.5 Aggregated Information
We may use and share aggregated or anonymised information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you for purposes such as analytics, research and improving our Services.
6. USER CONTENT AND SOCIAL SHARING
FootDiary is designed to allow football fans to record and share their experiences.
You are responsible for the information you choose to upload and share through the Services.
This includes:
Journal Entries;
photographs;
videos;
match tickets;
location information;
travel information;
comments; and
other User Content.
Before sharing information, you should consider whether it contains information about:
yourself;
friends or family;
children;
other spectators;
your current or future location;
your home or accommodation;
ticket numbers;
booking references;
QR codes or barcodes; or
other information that you do not want others to see.
If you upload information about another person, you should ensure that you have the necessary permission or other lawful basis to do so where required by applicable law.
7. LOCATION INFORMATION
Some FootDiary features allow you to record stadiums, venues, cities, countries and travel destinations.
We may use this information to:
record your stadium visits;
associate Journal Entries with particular venues;
maintain your football travel history; and
provide relevant features and functionality.
Where the App requests access to your device's location, you can control this permission through your device settings.
We will not use precise device location for purposes that are not described to you or permitted by applicable law.
8. CHILDREN AND PRIVACY
FootDiary is not intended for children below the minimum age permitted under applicable law.
Where applicable law requires parental or guardian consent before we collect or use a child's personal data, we will take appropriate steps to obtain such consent.
We do not knowingly collect children's personal data in a manner prohibited by applicable law.

We may take reasonable steps to investigate and delete the information where appropriate.
9. TRANSFERRING YOUR PERSONAL DATA OUTSIDE YOUR COUNTRY
FootDiary is operated from India and we may use service providers located in other countries.
As a result, your personal data may be transferred to or accessed from countries other than the country in which you live.
Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers of personal data, we will take appropriate steps to comply with those requirements.
10. SECURITY OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA
